The “i Head” provides 24" of travel with continuous rotation and a ballscrew driven plunge axis for smooth precise motion. Both plunge and rotation axis includes encoder feedback, ensuring accurate synchronization. The plunge axis can also be disengaged from the drive with the push of a button for fast manual adjustment and position read-out is available from the pendant or from a scale mounted on the head.
The “i Head” provides synchronized rotation and axial travel, perfect for small diameter pipes, nozzles, instrumentation penetrations, thermal sleeves, upper pressurizers and IGA assembly.
